I have a wedding cake im doing and they would like it to look like this (see picture below) and im not sure how to do the ruffles on the bottom and top tier and get it to stay let alone look like that lol. would i just put some buttercream under it? can anyone explain it to me or have a link that could help? Also i know how to do the drape on the center tier but it looks like it goes around the cake would i put another drape on the back side?
PS they would like the cake iced with buttercream and have fondant decorations

The Satin Ice website has some tutorials on how to do draping and ruffles. Check them out and see if that helps give you and idea of how to get it done. When I did my ruffle/drape cake I did it with like a base layer of fondant then placed my drapes and fondant on so you wouldn't see the undercoat at all. GL
