I baked cakes on the 31th and they have been in refrigerator since, but now I need to freeze them until June 17th. will they still taste fresh?

Wrap them well in two or three layers of Saran wrap and then with foil. They should be fine.

agreed, they will be fine. Lots of people freeze all the time, as long as they are well wrapped so no moisture will form on the cake itself.

I wrap my cakes in plastic wrap while they are still warm, at least a couple of layers. Then I put them into a clean trash bag and close it well, basically it is folded double after the cakes get in it. I think this helps with the texture of the cake and makes it more workable. Good luck with it.
