I am going to be making the Mario Bros. Question cube. What is the easiest way to cover the cube with fondant?

I haven't covered a square cake yet, only round, but my teacher always said you had to start smoothing down the fondant at the corners of the cake. That's how she demonstrated it. But I guess there are many ways. I'm going to try a square one soon just to see how it goes! Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

Yep, smooth the corners first, getting them as crisp as possible, then work inward. I actually think it is easier than round, once you get the hang of it. There is a great tutorial on Youtube by Toedna. She is fantastic.
