I volunteered to make a cake for my boss's party. He's stepping down as manager and working part time on 3rd shift.

We work at a hospital pharmacy and I'm not quite sure how I should do this. You were the manager but now you're part time? Need help!

Could you do a figure of him sitting at his desk (or something more appropriate) with his feet up on it, some golf clubs in the corner. Not sure that helps but Im thinking sort of working but really relaxed type of theme
Hopefully someone else will have better suggestions! lol

Can you do something with the idea of "stepping back" or "stepping down" to a different role? Tiered cake as "steps" -- somehow represent the hospital at night on the lower tier, daytime on the upper, and have figure of boss going down a stair that spirals around the side... I don't know if that comes across easily enough but maybe you can work with the idea.

Or maybe just a simple cake topped with a fondant figure of boss halfway (only halfway!) out the door? icon_smile.gif
