Is there a mold available somewhere for the links on the bottom tier of this cake? It seems like a mold would be easier than cutting the individual pieces.
It is slide #9 in case the link doesn't work. It gave me some trouble when I tested it. Thanks!

Well, they could be different sized circles with centers cut out using smaller circles with small thin strips "linking" them together, or they could be chains cut using Cricut or another electronic cutter... there are a number of possibilites.

Thanks for the response. I could do it on a cricut but the results would be very flat. I would like to know if there is an easier way than cutting out the individual pieces that would give me the dimension too...
Thanks in advance!

Well, you could cut a base chain in desired length using Cricut, then add extra fondant "links" over those parts. Would add dimension without having to cut the circles.
