I want to make a cake from snack cakes like those on this blog for a pool party. http://bridetide.blogspot.com/2010/01/twinkie-wedding-cakes.html
Has anyone made one? Did you start with a base cake that was crumb coated/frosted and then attach the snack cakes to it? Or did you make the entire cake from snack cakes?

I'm not to sure how to respond to that. I don't know whether I think their cute, but then I don't care for twinkies...but still they are kinda cute even if you don't like them.

Wow. Some of those actually are kinda cute. Others...well, not my style. icon_lol.gif

And I would say that some of them look like they are entirely constructed from Twinkies while others are regular cake (or, apparently, a dummy) with Twinkies applied to the outside. So you could do it either way, depending on what look and taste you want.
