Furit In Cake Batter

Hi all I want to add some strawberrys that had frozen to my cake batter. I want to know how much can I safely add? I am using the wasc recipe. Thanks for your help. sammie

I can answer my own question. I used the strawberrys with the liquid and no other liquid. and the cake turned out fine.
