Hello,

We will be going to New York for a week in October and I am wondering if you guys know of a good 1 day class that teaches flower making, pulled sugar, marzipan and other stuff that is a little bit more advance than what they offer at Michael's.

I saw some classes at Ices but they don't have an October schedule yet.

Thank you

Check the Institute of Culinary Education's schedule for when you're going to be there. Toba Garrett teaches all of her cake and cookie decorating classes there and some of them are one day classes. Also look up NY Cake Decorators on Meetup.com, they have lots of classes.

hope this link works for you... it's a 5 day class though. I didn't see anything for one day.

If you plan to be on Long Island at all check out the chocolate duck in farmingdale, ny. They had classes years ago. Not sure if they do now but maybe they can accommodate you for a sugar flower class?
