Need help ASAP
Can I freeze cake pops that are already covered in the candy? will they brake the chocolate when I bring them to Room temp?
Thanks
I make cake pops all the time... yes you can freeze them no problem. 2 things to remember tho, when you bring them to room temperature make sure it isnt super hot... i usually stick them in the fridge to thaw out.
Also, i always cover each cake pop in small plastic sleeves with a twisty tie/ribbon around it so "seal" each one. ive found if you dont, it can cause sweating and moisture spots.
now if you freeze the cake pops BEFORE you coat them in chocolate this can cause the chocolate to crack, so make sure they are surely thawed first before dipping. even if they do crack tho, you can just redip them no biggy.
hope this helps!
