I am using the sylvia weinstock yellow cake recipe tripled. I walked away mid way through and after I put the cakes in the oven I noticed two more sticks of butter sitting on the counter. cake batter tasted great. Now I'm just anxiously waiting to see if they turn out ok.
Has anybody else done this before?

I haven't, but I'm dying to hear how the cake turned out, because it SO sounds like the kind of thing I would do eventually. Please let us know!
