Im looking for a decent vegan cake and frosting recipe. I found one vegan frosting recipe that looks good, but there are a couple of ingredients that Im not familiar with. They are "lecithin" and "fructose" can anyone please tell me what they are and where to find them. Thanks so much!

Non Dairy Buttercream
1/2 cup vegan butter
1/2 cup shortening
3.5 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup rice milk 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or whatever flavor combo you desire

1. cream butter and shortening
2. slowly add sugar
3. add milk and extract

The regular Wilton bc icing recipe is vegan with the substitution of water or rick/soy milk.

PS Satin Ice is vegan.

If this is for a client who is a TRUE vegan, you'll need to find a brand of powdered sugar that's not processed with bone char.
