A Memorial day cake, I have a young man who is ordering a cake on memorial day, he wants a 7 inch peanut butter and jelly cake, the frosting is a light beige, I dont think he cares much about the design (but I do of course) I asked him what he wanted on it and he said "oh I thought the peanut butter was the decoration- uh anything I guess" So of course I do want it to be my best because anytime someone orders is an oppurtunity for more buisness Any ideas would help

How about a flag drapped across the top?

Just my two cents, and I could be dead wrong, but.. I'd talk to the young man again so it's clear on what style cake he wants. From what you've described, I'd take his request as a peanut butter and jelly dessert cake, not a decorated cake.
