I have a huge wedding cake due next weekend and I want it to have a little sparkle. The cake will be covered in ivory fondant. Someone had mentioned a luster pearl spray. Do you think I should use the pearl spray or an ivory colored luster dust? Is the pearl spray just a white sparkly effect or does it have that blue hue to it? I need to place my order today to get everything in time. Thank you.

I haved used the edible Lustre Sprays Made By PME Arts & Crafts. They come in several colors, the one you would want just for a shimmery effect would be the pearl. I just get them at my local cake decorating store. the cans i get are kind of small so if you are doing a huge cake you may want to get a couple of cans! HTH Kathy

Do you think Luster dust would give a nice sparkle instead of using the luster spray?

In this case, I would use the luster spray to give a nice, even coverage.
