Hi! I just went to check on my sherry- laced fruit cake, which I marzipanned some time ago and found 2 circles of white mould on the marzipan - I have scraped off all the marzipan, but do I really have to throw away the cake? I don't want to poison anyone but don't want to waste it either! Help!
I wouldn't chance anything with mold on it. I would throw it out.
