I made a chocolate cake with oreos in the batter and filled it with a cookies and cream buttercream...now i just can't decide if i should put brown (chocolate) flavored fondant or just go with brown colored vanilla fondant? The brown is fondx and the regular fondant is satin ice. I could use any suggestions, thanks.
I think you would be good either direction you chose to go. I think the chocolate fondant is so thin, that it wouldn't be over kill on the chocolate, like a chocolate ganache or choc. buttercream would.
As far as I am concerend one can never have too much chocolate, I vote for chocolate fondant.
