What brand does everyone use for their food coloring for frosting? I have been using the gel and don't like how it can get thick. I saw on tv once a powder that seem to have better coloring in the end.

I use Wilton because it's easily accessible but mine do get thick over time. I basically have to replace all of my old colors at the moment and I use Americolors if I'm stopping by my cake supply. Hobby Lobby has started carrying americolors which I love those little bottles that you can just put drops into your buttercream or fondant. I have the large bottles of Super Red and Super Black and few small bottles of the Americolor that I've picked up as I replace my gel colors.

I use both americolor and wilton although I prefer how americolor comes in squeezable bottles, they are a lot more easier to use and help me from not making a mess! icon_smile.gif
