Please help! The party is for a friend who is turning 40. Their theme is "cruisin' into 40" and the cake needs to be something cruise ship related, enough for 100 people. It will be lemon cake, raspberry filling, and cream cheese frosting so it will need to fit in the fridge. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking big round or square with a cruise ship on top? But I don't want it to be too plain. I would love to carve a ship, but with the cream cheese frosting and the filling I'm too afraid to try. Any fun ideas???

There are alot of cruise ideas in here. Here is what I came across that doesn't require you to carve a ship:

A cruise ship doesn't require that much carving, esp if it's small. It could even be made out of fondant or RKT. The ship doesn't have to be same as the large cake. I would have the ship cruising into a cake shaped like the #40 on top of a sheet cake. That should be enough servings too... You could do BC waves all over the sheet cake.
