So I am making a 6 inch cake and 3 dozen cupcakes for my little cousin's 2nd birthday on the 4th. I have two little girls so making a cake for a little boy is a challenge, to say the least, lol...Can anyone offer up any cake ideas?
I looked online and google'd some cakes, and I was thinking of make a toolbox out of cake (would that be a 2-6" square cakes, cut down to a rectangle size? Do they sell rectangle pans?) But then I am not sure on what to do for the rest of the decorations...I was thinking maybe a buttercream transfer for Manny's face put that on the toolbox and then mold the tools and stick those"in" the toolbox? Can a buttercream transfer be done in IMBC? Will it stick to fondant?

I am open to all suggestions...thanks in advance!

A tool box cake would be super cute! You could use a bread loaf pan to bake rectangles if you don't want to cut a square cake.
