I know there was a thread on this awhile back, but I can't find it.... I am having a hectic evening and forgot my cake in the ovenicon_sad.gif The knife came out moist when I stuck it in there, but the top of the cake is pretty dark (it's a white cake). I'm planning to cut the top off, but I"m still afraid it's going to be pretty dry. Can someone post those tips for me for mending dry cake? (the syrups to use, etc...) I probably overcooked it by about 10 minutes, do you think I should just start over or try to salvage it??? Thanks!
