Someone please tell me how to frost cake pops. I tried melting the chocolate wafers and it was so thick it tore the cake pop off the stick!
Please let me know what you do.

I always refrigerate my cake balls for about 10 min. then dip the lollipop stick into candy melts and push them into the cake balls and refrigerate them again for 10 min. This helps secure them to the stick, but mine still occasionally fall off, just not very often. If you have done this and yours are still falling off the stick I know a lot of people recommend thinning out your melted chocolate with shortening. Hope that helps!

I dip my sticks in chocolate and refrigerate too. I use Wilton's Melting Pot so I've never had to thin the melts. With a Michael's or Hobby Lobby 40% coupon, it's inexpensive. HTH

Use paramount crystals to thin the candy melts.
