I'm doing a wedding cake for a good friend and she"s given me complete control. I asked her for some inspiration pics and she sent me these. I can do whatever I want but I would really like to combine these two cakes. I was maybe thinking doing one tier with the blossoms or wrapping around the cake. I just can't think of an amazing way to blend these. Any ideas or pics would be greatly appreciated! BTW her colors are purple and green.

What about mixing the tier or shall I say alternating the tiers round & square like in these sketches

This way you can incorporate the design from both cakes

you could easily wire blossoms coming cascading down from the top instead of the orchids. I have done this with cherry blossoms. [/img]

What about doing the bottom tier round with stripes, then the next 3 tiers square with the cherry blossoms. Then your topper could be more of the modern look like the second cake.
