Hi guys - I just posted a photo of a veiled wedding cake which shows a few new SugarVeil techniques here: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2032760. You spread SugarVeil over the Dot Veil Confectioners Mat (info at http://www.sugarveil.com/mat/sugarveil-mat.htm) and when it sets, you can peel an expanding veil large enough to completely encase a 3-tier cake. The bow on the cake (there's also a close up photo'd in the gallery) is an example of how to create SugarVeil 'fabric' that looks exactly like matelasse. It was made by spreading solid layer of SugarVeil over the Rose Mantilla Mat and then forming it into a bow.
