Crisco-No Trans Fat

Do any of you CC'ers use this for your buttercream? What recipe do you use with the Crisco? I can't afford to the drive out to buy high ratio shortening and an all butter BC is out of the question with the heat here. I really hope it works with Indydebi's BC recipe. Thanks.

when crisco changed the recipe to zero trans fat (about 5 years ago?), I never even noticed a difference. I couldn't figure out what everyone was complaining about. so yeah ... it works. thumbs_up.gif

i didn't notice a difference either! haha i've always wondered what the big deal was lol

I think the reason why Debi did not notice a difference is because there is transfat in Dream Whip which probably took the place of what Crisco took out.
