Hello Everyone!

I am doing my first dummy cake and since it is a dummy cake, I want to put nice fake crystals/diamonds on it. I have tried the edible diamonds and hated them. Does anyone know where I can get some nice fake ones that actually look like diamonds? I forgot to mention, they have to be GOLD.

So I guess I should say the yellow diamonds icon_smile.gif

Also, any tips on how to stick my VERY LARGE gum paste roses in my dummy cake if they are made on wire?

I've seen the large diamonds at Hobby Lobby.

Insert a guide wire into the styro first, pull it out and stick in the flower on a wire.

OK to use wires on a competition cake? I know some competitions don't allow that.
