What is the best Fondant recipe to use for covering cakes? I liked an MMF recipe I tried but it got firm. Did I do something wrong?
I use a very simple recipe that I found on here.
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp popcorn salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp glycerine
2 lb powdered sugar
I think it was Michelle's Marshmallow Fondant recipe if memory serves.
It does get firm when it sits but I just microwave it for a few seconds till it softens a little when I'm ready to work with it and then knead it till it's workable.
