Help! I need a really fun & neat cake for a "spunky" 89 year old (or maybe 90) lady. It's a friend's granmother & she wants it to be fun. But I also don't have a whole lot of time to invest either. icon_cry.gif Any ideas? TIA!

What things is this spunky lady into? What does she like? What makes her spunky? The answer to these questions might help us come up with ideas to help you.

I don't know her, just her granddaughter. And she wasn't much help. She says just something fun & spunky, any color, any flavor. icon_confused.gif Not much to go on, huh? That is why I came to you guys. LOL! I guess I just need a really fun, generally generic cake? icon_rolleyes.gif Any ideas? I am coming up dry...

She would have been in her twenties in the 1940s, so maybe a cake reminiscent of that decade- a dress or something.

When I hear the words "Spunky older lady", I think of the Red Hat Ladies. Why not do a Red Hat cake?

Something along these lines
