have put a thin layer of icing onto cake thinking i was star tipping....NOT!! need it to be skin tone, can i ice over buttercream with buttercream....time is of the essence
I have "over-iced" before. Let it set up, or chill to set, then go again.
Well, I've never had to do that before but...I think if you put it in the fridge and firm it up you should be able to recover it with another color. Good Luck!!
If time is of the essence, scrape it off and re-ice. That will be waaaay quicker than waiting for it to set up enough to cover with another layer of buttercream.
