Fondant Question

I'm gonna do a three tier cake a 16.12 and 8 I would like to know what size buckets of satin ice should I use to cover the cakes.

It depends on how thinly/thickly you roll your fondant. Some folks roll to 1/8"...some to 1/4" that difference will double the amount you need. I think the Wilton site has a basic chart to help you figure out how much you need. But I always make/buy more than I think...just in case.

I've seen ther wilton chart but I don't understand it. I'm kinda new to this.. I know satin sells by 2,5 and 20 bucket sizes, So if someone could help me out I would appreiate it
