I am looking for a lemon buttercream frosting that is stiff enough to pipe swirls on to cupcakes, and not too hard to make
I just add a mix of lemon juice and extract to Indydebi's buttercream recipe. Turns out great everytime and super easy to make
I would say to any buttercream recipe you could add lemon juice, extract, zest or even lemonade mix, or a mixture of whichever you have on hand, and it would be delicious!
I add lemon and lime juice to indy's recipe all the time, however for some reason if I add juice the color will not get very dark or bright!
Indy's buttercream recipe is the BEST! I just sub lemon extract for the vanilla extract!
