I have never done this before..but it was 1 am at night and after I torted and filled my cake...I just stuck it in the fridge over night..there was no BC on it or crumb coat or anything!!! Its probablly all dry from inside. Is there anything I can do now? That might make it more moist??
Spray or brush it with milk or simple syrup to add in some moisture. I flavor my syrup with almond, it's my preferred flavor. If it's chocolate cake you can use chocolate milk. I would put a good amount on the top, let that soak in, then flip over and repeat with the bottom, letting soak before flipping back over... Just a couple ideas. Good luck!
