i need to make 360 cupcakes and am trying to figure out how many WASC mixes i need to make.

how many cups of batter are in one box mix, which makes 24 cupcakes? and...

how many cups are in the WASC recipe?

i've read a couple of things that say about 5 cups per box mix and 15 cups per WASC mix.

if that is correct then i should be able to make 72 fro each WASC mix. (3 x 24 = 72), which would mean 5 WASC recipes to get 360 (5 x 72 = 360) cupcakes. ARE THESE THE RIGHT NUMBERS?

Additionally, i am trying to quote them a price and that will be determined by the number of WASC recipes i have to make!

i need your help! thanks so muchicon_smile.gif!

When I make WASC (I use the one box cake mix with 1 cup each flour, sugar, milk and sourcream), I get 36 cupcakes.

I usually get about 30 cupcakes with the WASC recipe using one box of mix.

i use two boxes of cake mix, 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, and two cups sour cream or pudding. so, if that's twice what you all use, them i should be able to get 72... 2x36, right? just let me know if i'm using twice as much as you all??? thanks so much!!!

I get 36 regular size cupcakes out of 1/2 WASC recipe(1 box mix) using Duncan Hines so your 72 number sounds correct to me.
