I'm wondering just how far in advance can I make and store my gum paste figures/flowers. The longest I have ever stored them was 2 weeks, but things are going to be getting a little busy around here in about a month.

I have some that are a couple years old from various classes, and they still look good as new! Just be careful where you store them...out of direct light as it will fade them, and away from dampness etc. Of course, with our humidity here in Arizona about 3-8% I don't have to worry about the humidity but warn clients about the evaporative coolers that pump moisture in the air!

Ditto to bisbqueenb! As long as you store them properly, they should last quite a while. I've also noticed colors fade on some items if you don't keep them stored correctly. icon_smile.gif
