There are so many different dusts or at least enough to confuse me. icon_confused.gif So what are the differences and what are they used for. I have pearl dust I think and I use it on gum paste flowers. But what about the disco dusts and the others? I can't remember their names lol. Thanks!

disco dust is like edible glitter, luster or lustre dust is colored and has a pearlescent sheen, and petal dust is colored, but matte. i tend to use both petal and lustre dust on my gumpaste flowers. hope that helps.

I have always been led to believe that disco dust is non-toxic but it is NOT edible... it more for use on accents/decorations that will be removed from the cake before eating

Hopefully someone will correct me if i am wrong.....
