http://dealnay.com/657094/fine-mesh-flour-sifter-stainless-steel-10-diameter.html

This has a 12-cup capacity ... so it should handle 8-cups easily. Place hands either sided and shake from side to side..

If you are looking for something more economical try a large wire mesh strainer.

thanks- I bought one off of Amazon. The kind you suggested but plastic so I can stick it in the dishwasher. More economical and easier to clean! icon_wink.gif

Where did you find the plastic one? All I can find are the stainless steel and they are way high in price. Thanks!

I have 2 electric ones that fit atop my mixer so the flour can go right into the workbowl. Capacity? 5 lbs flour at a shot!

I ordered it from the company that makes my mixer - I have a Bosch mixer.
