What do you suggest??? I don't mean to sound picky...just being honest,,
I grew up on Betty Crocker tubs of frosting and I loved it! I want to make frosting that tastes that good, but is easy to decorate with. I don't like the taste of BC made with Crisco, but I love how it works for decorating. SMBC is ok, but almost too buttery and melts pretty easily.
So many of you have so much more experience than I do, and there are a gazillion recipes! I am looking for a little guidance...
My favorite frosting so far is Rick's Special Buttercream. It is delicious, and uses heavy whipping cream instead of milk. Kind of a hybrid between buttercream and whipped frosting.
Why not mix American b/c with SMBC?
