Anyone read The Icing on the Cupcake? Pretty good story about Texas girl who moves to NYC and starts a bakery. It also has many interesting recipes, and even though parts of the story are a bit stilted, it has some intriguing ideas.
Yes, I read it! I really enjoyed it, and the recipes, although I haven't tried any. In most of her recipes, she added potato starch, and I was intrigued, but haven't tried that either. Has anyone heard of doing this?
