I would like to make a "cardboard" box with modelling paste for the top of a toy story cake. I have seen many pictures but can't find any how to's! I would like an open box with the toys sticking out of top - flaps of box hanging diagonally?! Should I model rectangles and try to stick them together or would it be better to model over an existing box and support flaps? Sorry if this is really simple - but I'm a newbie!! Also ideas for packing material inside box would be great!

This is the one I made.

I made the box out of rice krispie treats. Put really thick butter cream on and
put Panels on each side of the box.

I cut the flaps seperate and just had something that was the right height support the flaps while they dried.

I used mini marshmallows for the packing material
