Sometimes I have mental lapses. Today is one of those days.

Is it that you shouldn't put RI flowers on BC? Or that you shouldn't put fondant flowers on BC? Or that you shouldn't put BC flowers on fondant?

I get it mixed up some times. I have a cake I've planned on doing in BC and decorating with fondant/gumpaste flowers. I seem to remember that RI gets soft from the moisture of the BC if put on too early but what about fondant on BC? And vice versa?

I'm making the cake Wednesday for delivery on Thursday for a party on Saturday. Should I use something specifically given the length of time from creation to consumption?
