Any suggestions? I made a large fondant frog and put him in the middle of my iced cake. It is very humid here and the icing is running too. Should I just let the cake sit overnight to harden and then try to get the frog off and reposition him tomorrow? Thanks in advance for your help! I'm in a crisis!!

Can you refrigerate your cake, I refrigerate all of my cakes.

Will that make the fondant crack?

I also put all my cakes in the fridge and the fondant has never cracked, it can sweat though. icon_biggrin.gif How heavy is the frog, did you put support under him? icon_smile.gif

I had a round cake board that I was going to put under the lily pad and then sit him on top. Dummy me decided not to put it on there. icon_cry.gif

Can you put the cake in the fridge - then when it is cold, take off the frog and support him. You may need a couple of bubble tea straws or dowels under the lily pad also. icon_smile.gif
