Just came across this person's flickr and she has a number of awesome cakes just like this one. My question is, did she put the ganache over fondant or over buttercream? the cake is so perfectly smooth that I can't even tell.

to me it looks like buttercream, the way the light is hitting the divits on the side like her spatula dragged across the cake board, I have had this happen to many time LOL
looks like buttercream to me.. but she obviously does a fantastic job smoothing it
It's probably ganache over butter cream frosting. It does look delicious.
She does a lot of poured ganache under buttercream.
On top of that, it's Swiss Meringue Buttercream, non crusting.
Definitely buttercream It's a beauty!
The definitely looks like SMBC or IMBC with the ganache over it. Those berries are SO perfect... I am absolutely drooling! The whole cake is perfect, and it's making me hungry!!
