Okay..so when I make my zipper from a zipper mold how do I attach it to the top of the purse..Just glue it on?Some molds look like the whole zipper and not the teeth..does that make sense?Do I tuck it under the fondant?

Thanks thumbs_up.gif

Anyone have any insight..Do I attach the zipper first?? Do I paint it the same color as the bag and then gold lustre dust on the teeth?

What does the real purse look like?

Without knowing the purse, I would probably put the zipper down first and then the fondant. Depending on the style of the purse, I might leave a little of the zipper "cloth" showing. HTH

The real purse is this but it doesn't show the zipper...

For my Coach bag, I simply glued it on with RI, at a tiny bit of an angle so that it looked like the base of the zipper was lying more closely to the purse than the distal end of the zipper (because hte base of the zipper is actually what's connected to the thing). And yes, I waited to paint it until it was all put together. HTH! Good luck!
