is that ok? I have wilton gel colors but the americolor usually has more bright color.
Yes it's do-able Just be careful. You can always add *more* but canNOT take away if you get the color too dark/intense.
I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. Just be careful! Depending on how vivid of a color that you want the cake to be, the coloring can affect the stability of a baked cake. I had a bride that wanted her cake to be dark purple, and the filling to be pink. One of the cake layers crumbled because the coloring made the cake so much softer once it was baked. Not fun!! Give it a trial run before doing your final cake!!
