I never thought the use a plant stand to display a cake, but it looks nice. (of course the cake has to be placed on a strong cake board or plate first.)

Wow, it looks so cute! Thanks for the great idea and hopefully you will share any others you may find. I think after a while we all run out of ideas and need to have someone jump start the thinking process again.

HEre's one that I did. The stand is an upside down wire fruit bowl. Saw it in Ole Time Pottery and all I could see was "cake stand"!

It may be another persons idea however, you were looking and thought that was a great one. To me that is thinking outside the box. Indy Debi, I love the twisted stand in between the tiers of your picture. Can you direct me to who may sell them please?

I ran across another interesting stand. I think it is a candle holder. It would work well for cupcakes or cake bites.

I'm always on the lookout for some sort of new stand or display. I found these when I gave up looking and was just killing time one day. The metal one is a candle holder and the concrete one was in the garden section, both came from Hobby Lobby.
