Hello
I have seen such beautiful stencil work on here. I had hoped that my cricut cake would help me with some of the designs but so far I am at the play with stage. I don't have any cakes ordered for these designs but I would like to practice before someone asks me.

Is there a tutorial or can someone offer me directions on how you get the stencil to attacth to the buttercream and come off the butter cream without pulling the frosting apart when it is removed.

also is the frosting that goes on the stencil royal icing or buttercream? I would think that it is royal?

thanks everyone

I stenciled on the teapot cake in my photos. I refrigerated the cake and made sure the buttercream was cold and hard before using the stencil. And honestly I didn't attach anything...I just held it with one hand and wiped buttercream over it, then carefully removed the stencil. I didn't use RI for that...just more buttercream. It worked pretty well!
