Wondering what is the best way to flip a 18 inch cake on top of another 18 inch cake after the bottom one has the filling in it with out breaking the top one? PLEASE [/b]help am maing a huge wedding cake this weekend. icon_confused.gif

Maybe freeze it until it is stiff enough to move without breaking.

Put it on a cake board the way you want it and slide it into place.

Ditto..Anytime I am moving a larger slab I use a cakeboard underneath and gently slide it ontop...

Thanks for the ideas. Last time I tried i took some of the filling off and the top layer broke. So i will try to do this..
