When I bake cupcakes the paper separates from the cake while they are cooling. What should I do to fix this? I have a cupcake wedding at the end of next month and need to figure it out quick!
Hi - I've had this problem too - and I've found that if I leave my cakes to cool in the tray a bit longer before moving them onto a cooling rack, the papers stay on a bit better. Maybe others will have different suggestions?
Hello! I believe it's your recipe, not the wrappers. Some cake recipes just don't convert to cupcakes without adjustments.
I use Betty Crocker Cake mix, so i don't know how i would adjust that.
My mistake, this is a common problem for scratch cakes, you gave very little info about you or your style of baking so I assumed you were making scratch, not box.
You could also try baking them a wee minute longer? I've found some wrappers better than others too - Wilkinson's seem to be quite good (and cheap!)
