We are almost legal to bake from our homes in the state of Washington. SB5748 just passed legislation and is now awaiting signature from the Governor. The law becomes effective 90 days from the date she signs.

You can read all about it in my blog icon_biggrin.gif http://fhcakes.blogspot.com/

I too live in Vancouver (Clark County). Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to assist!

Just in case it applies to you, the law will only allow for non-potentially hazardous baked goods. For many that doesn't matter, but if you normally use perishable fillings or icings (fruit fillings, custards, cream cheese, mousses, meringue based buttercreams) then you'd have to change your menu or work out of a commercial kitchen.
