Is it possible? Long story but it would be easiest for me if I was able to ganashe the cake and send it with my mom to thaw a day before i arrive for me to cover and decorate.
I know cake on its own freezes well. And ganashe on it's own can freeze...but together??
Not if you are making your ganache with double cream and chocolate. It goes horribly gooey!
I made it with heavy whipping cream and dark chocolate. I figured it wouldn't work but you ladies are more worldly than I so I thought I'd ask.
