Hi there,
I am a newly registered cake decorator. I am very happy doing my little cakes here and there but have just been asked to do a wedding cake in November. Now, I know that is ages away but I am already freaking out. She needs the cake to serve 140 people, but they need to be tea & coffee sizes not dessert. What is the difference in the two sizes, is there a general rule for working out the sizes? is it just a half serve??

Also the cake has 3 tiers but they are the higher style ones, they look to me like double the height of a regaular pan height. SHe wants the top tier to keep, so the middle and bottom tiers must be tall, and big enough to feed 140 (tea & coffee serve) and she also doesn't want it to be one of those cakes that is the height of the bride.

Thanks to anyone that can offer some kind of help here icon_smile.gif

Oh I have no idea how to attach a pic. can someone help with that option , as I am having trouble figuring that bit out. [img][/img]
