Icing A Square Cake?

I see that everyone has such nice clean corners when icing a square cake. Any advice or tricks to share for a newbie? Thanks!

I have a problem with square cakes too...lol....if you google how to ice a square cake..that will help..lots of help on you tube... icon_smile.gif

Ditto! I have watched every youtube video out there, nothing like her dvds! she doesnt fast forward through any part of icing a cake, she shows you EVERY stroke of the spatula! It really makes a difference because if she does mess up, she shows you how to fix it. If there happens to be a bubble, she fixes it, and explains exactly how!
